zevran’s boots were made for walking

What I love about this picture is that to me it totally looks like it could come from an adventure book- one of those really nice children’s books, maybe, with hard covers and glossy paper, all about the adventures of the dashing elf who wound up somewhere he really didn’t expect to be, but turned out to be the right place anyway. What I’m saying is I really like this okay XD

Earthquake

Mage!Warden (your choice, though I’m a f!Surana girl myself) discovering one of those really BIG spells - Blizzard, Tempest, Inferno, Earthquake - in camp. “Look what I can do!”

(In which I shamelessly go for the obvious pun)

“Andraste’s dancing underpants!”

Alistair shoots out of his tent like a flushed rabbit, narrowly avoiding collision with Leliana and Wynne, who are both similarly flustered.

“Did you-“

“It seems that there has been an earthquake.” Sten rumbles, as he moves to help Bodahn reassemble his cart. The dwarf, leaving Sten to that, goes to coax Sandal down from a nearby tree.

“Utter foolishness.” Morrigan, who hadn’t actually gone to bed, yawns. “Earthquakes don’t happen in this part of Ferelden.”

“Then what was it, Morrigan?” Wynne asks, checking on Ohgren. It turns out that the dwarf was not damaged in the earthquake: he is simply too drunk to notice and has slept through the entire thing. “I thought such things were impossible without magic-“

It’s at this point that Ralla emerges from her tent, giggling and followed in short order by Zevran.

“And I thought I was talented.”

The elf stops short and regards the assembled party. Blinks. Then looks at Ralla, who bites her lip and does her best to look innocent.

“Ah.” Zevran’s grin is wicked, and wide, and entirely irresistible. “Did the earth move for you, too?”
