I actually did the YEEEAAAAAH irl after Hawke said this line. I am super cool.

Merrill and Aveline in Mark of the Assassin! Making snarky comments and utterly failing to rescue Hawke. I think the Merrill romance has to be one of my favourites now. She was so excited at the idea of Hawke breaking out of prison by himself! She’s very supportive like that.

Not a bad DLC overall, although puzzles make me break out in hives. Due to that and also the fact that my macbook will melt if I add any more Dragon Age stuff to it I probably won’t play it again. (Oh who am I kidding, I probably will just to listen to all that hilarious dialogue again)

Finally got my mitts on Mark of the Assassin and it’s a hoot! Non-spoilery highlights so far:

• Tallis’ nug impression.
• Serendipity’s nickname for Hawke (I had Hudson sleep with her special for this DLC) is ‘honey badger’.
• I assume that this is due to his thick skin and ferocious defensive abilities.
• It’s now canon that Hudson does impressions at the drop of a hat, and persists with his ‘Orlesian accent’ despite the protests of everyone else. 
• Doggies everywhere!
• Causing a fashion emergency is the best thing.
