I don’t really seem to be feeling this Dragon Age/Avatar AU as much as I’d hoped. I took another crack at it after the prologue-thing yesterday, working more to my strengths (i.e ALL VARRIC ALL THE TIME) but I don’t know, I’m not really engaging with it right now. Here’s Varric’s intro, anyway. I might try again another time.
There are a few ways to tell a firebender by sight, beyond the obvious tells of hair and eye colour that are starting to become irrelevant anyway. The city is making new people, ones that don’t dress so uniformly in red and blue and green. Still, some tells remain, artifacts of the past that are there for those who know what to look for.
Case in point: the guy Varric spots hanging around the docks one afternoon on the way to the printhouse. Firebender, for sure.
