I cried when he called Shepard his sister. Just… gaaaaah all the feels.

It took me the longest time to warm up to Wrex. I hardly ever used him in ME1 and in ME2 he was kinda… there but damn if ME3 didn’t build him up beautifully. My Shepard grew to respect and admire him for everything he achieved. And when he called her his sister it felt right.

(sidebar: someone could do an interesting feminist reading of Priority: Tuchanka? Possibly?)

My entry for the Bioware Fanart Showcase at SDCC! Punch that husk in the face, Shep! I’ve actually had the idea for this in my brain since May or so (hence no shiny new omni blade) and the fanart showcase/contest was a good time to finally do it :) 

Colors and ideas were inspired by James Jean’s cover to his Fables Covers book, one of the covers inside, and wearing my n7 hoody while reading it :)
