This is so not okay, guys.  And really not funny.

It was one thing for Mordin to approach Shepard with advice on how to remove listening devices from Miranda/Jacob, or for Mordin to point out that Garrus ejaculates death (because Shepard clearly didn’t know), or for Tali to approach Mordin for immuno-boosters.

But for Jeff, a 31 year old man with a life-long disability, who has clearly passed puberty and amassed quite a collection of porn to prove it, to approach an alien for basic sex tips? We’re just reinforcing that lovely BSN banter about how Joker must be a virgin because, lol, sex would shatter his pelvis.

Also, let’s keep in mind that sex with EDI means that she has penetrable orifices.  Things a robot would not need.  They’re there specifically because The Illusive Man ordered them.

Food for thought!

Yes, yeah, all of the above. NOT OKAY AT ALL.

I do have some basic confusion about how EDI acquired that doctor’s body on Mars. I know she was synthetic when EDI took over her body, but was she a synthetic created by Cerberus or did she start out as organic and become synthetic through experimentation with Reaper technology? I get confused.

There’s a giant plot hole for that one.

Eva Core was the girlfriend of Ben, Jack Harper’s (TIM’s) friend.  The three of them ran an anti-turian guerrilla group during the First Contact War.  Jack had an obvious crush on Eva, but Eva and Ben were an item.  Ben died, then Eva died, then Jack carries Eva’s body off in a fit of rage/tears/jealousy.

ME3 opens with a Cerberus Infiltrator Bot named Dr. Eva Core working in the Mars Archives.  At the end of ME3, there’s video footage where TIM recognizes that project EDI has failed and suggests they work on EDI 2.0: Project Eva.  This suggests that they built the Infiltrator Bot and named it Eva Core instead of it being a resuscitated person.

I don’t think they named the Infiltrator Bot “Eva Core” on accident.  And one would think that Liara (the Shadow Broker), EDI (the intellectual predecessor), or even Ashley (whose grandfather worked very closely with Jack Harper and the original Eva Core), would have recognized Dr. Core as being The Illusive Man’s cohort/love interest.

I have heard one passing theory that Shepard was not the first attempt at the Lazarus Project, and that Eva Core was.  That the project restored her body, much like it did for Shepard, but that her mind was too far gone to restore her personality.  Either way, it sounds like Jack Harper/TIM kept Eva Core around after she died.

I’m assuming Eva Core, the woman Jack Harper loved, died and was rebuilt.  I’m assuming she was also rebuilt with Reaper/Synthetic tech, similar to TIM and Shepard.  I’m also assuming it didn’t go well and the Eva Core we meet on Mars is more machine than human.

Whereas this particular rumor gives substance to TIM’s insistence that Shepard remains Shepard, no tampering, it gets shuffled under the rug when the video states “build a new one and name it Eva.”  I’m also really lost as to how he could just toss Dr. Eva Core 2.0 into the Mars Archive, let her burn on a shuttle, and then doesn’t bother mentioning anything when she’s crawling around his base.

I really wanted to see the blowup between EDI/EVA and TIM.  If I was going to have to sit through Joker panting every time EDI walked into the room, I wanted to see the reaction when it was revealed that TIM’s pet project was now the pilot’s personal plaything.

Or, you know, at least something suggesting that TIM’s last shred of humanity died with the woman he loved.

EDI.  Oh, EDI.  So much spoiled potential.

Holy crap, two reasons to rage. Honestly everything about EDI in this game is just one huuuuuge problem, and that makes me so sad.
