commanderdudebro asked: 23, 36, 39 werewolf au skuld and erik

23. Who was your character’s best friend growing up?

Erik: Rorikstead is pretty small and Erik was one of its youngest inhabitants, so he spent a lot of time on his own growing up. Ennis, one of his dad’s friends, let him help out on the farm and Erik kind of got to be good friends with him, but he never had a best friend.

Skuld: as in Skyrim, Skuld moved around a lot when she was a kid, so she didn’t form lasting connections. In each new town she’d pick some poor kid to victimise because they were her ‘new friend’.

36. How far will your character go to achieve their goals and who will help them?

Though she professes not to care, Skuld will pretty much do anything to solve the case now Severio’s been attacked. It’s a matter of pride more than anything else- Skuld feels that if she had reacted sooner, he wouldn’t be in this situation. Erik will, of course, help her.

39. What is one act in your character’s past that they are most proud of?

It’s the same for both of them: making detective. Erik is proud of it because he knows that he’s not the brightest bulb in the box but he desperately wanted to be the kind of cop he saw on tv, the ones who solved crimes and helped people. So he worked incredibly hard to get to where he is now, and he’s proud of it. Skuld, on the other hand, didn’t work too hard to be where she is now, but she’s proud of the authourity that the position gives her. Skuld has a lot to prove, to be honest, and it’s mainly to herself.
