Commission Raffle
Hey guys. I’m in a bit of a money pinch at the moment and although I’m going to look back into doing more sketch commissions, someone ventured to me the idea of doing a commission raffle to raise some money so I can make my loan payment.
Here is a chance to steal a digitally painted portrait commission like the one below at below what I’d usually charge! (sans mabari, he’s here for the advertising potential).
I’d like the chance to give away a commission to people who might not be able to afford the full thing (and will be reopening them soon, I think, but won’t be able to finish many before my deadline). I thought this would be a fun idea. The idea is that you can chip in for a chance to win a commission I’d normally charge between 60 and 80 dollars for at a discounted price, and get karma points for helping me out of a tough financial time.
- A 1 dollar donation will get you a ‘ticket’ number.
- You can purchase as many 1 dollar tickets as you like to increase your chances.
- A signal boost along with your donation will also get you an extra entry, but only the first signal boost. More signal boosts after that or a signal boost without a donation won’t get you an entry but are always valued and help me out in the long run.
I’ll put everyone’s numbers in a database and on March 10th, 2012, I’ll select a number using a random number generator. If you win the commission, I’ll do any original character or favorite fan character provided commissioned fanart of the character is legal (and it is your responsibility to ensure that it is). Human or humanoid characters are preferred.
If you want to donate and purchase raffle tickets, send your payment to me as services rendered or a personal payment, and shoot me an email or ask on tumblr mentioning your paypal email and your tumblr username. I’ll verify it and add your tickets into the pool.
