Mother Tongue
Title: Mother Tongue
Fandom: Dragon Age 2
Rating: G

Anders’ earliest memories are of mountains cupping the sky like fingers, and a cold so keen it makes his mouth water. A waved...
I'm having this feeling a lot lately
Where I get the ‘writing itch’- you know, the tingle under the skin and the heart beating really fast, and so i open whatever-it-is and bash away enthusiastically for ten minutes. And then half an hour later I read it back and wonder why everything seems so...

An assassin hoodie!
I have been ogling this at conventions for far too long, so I decided to get it as a reward for getting seasonal work at John Lewis.
spicyshimmy replied to your post: varric, “all stories, if continued far enough, end in death.”
it is my own fault really and i should have known this and searched quotes about kittens not quotes about death. you pull no punches in your writing, which is about my favorite thing ever.
Thank you! <3 I seem to have this horrible compulsion to write the worst case scenarios for things, which...

medievalthedas:

Ohh!! I just mean the child’s fate reminds me of one story about how rusalki come into being, except “rusalka” is feminine and rusalki are usually woman spirits, so I wildly guessed a little-boy version of “rusalka”. Which probably isn’t a thing :’D
Oooh! Believe it or not, that bit of folklore was part of the...

I have been wracking my brains for ages and I simply have to ask! What did you mean by ‘rusalchik’? Did I make a typo I haven’t found?
