The Blitz- 70 years on

The BBC Website has some interesting stuff about the Blitz up for the anniversary. Coming from a family with branches in both London and Coventry, it’s always been a fascinating period of history for me. I can’t imagine living through something so violent. My grandpa’s house still has scars on the doorframe where the door was blown in!

(he has some interesting stories about the Blitz. Says it was useful for picking up girls)
